You have not been forgotten or forsaken. I'm just an asshole. My bad.

I have not abandoned this blog.  I am in the process of moving.  So, you all know how that is.

Wait...  Do you??  Because I've never moved before.  I didn't realize it was all this.  But I should be actually moved in next weekend and once Wifi is all set, I'll be back to my regularly scheduled insanity.  Pinky swear...

I'm honestly not used to being a nomad.  So, all of this uncertainty and scattering of my belongings across different friendly households has me stressed to the max.  I'm happy that there is an end in sight and that this little gal will soon have a home.

Thanks for your patience and continued awesomeness.  I promise to pay it back 10 fold.

Hugs to the power of infinity!

Valerie

  1. You're moving!?! How the hell did you find time or bandwidth to actually create a post?

  2. Hmmm...I thought things had been awfully quite these past weeks. Yeah, moving is big and scary. Even under the best circumstances, when it's exciting and something you've wanted and planned for, it's hugely stressful at the same time. I hope it goes well and you settle quickly in a place you can call home. Take care!

  3. Moving blows. Being in the Navy, I've done that many times (I've also done other things, but let's not speak of them here). At least moving doesn't require a trip to Sick Bay (damn! I said I wouldn't speak of them).

  4. I've been in the same apartment for 16 years now, for the single reason that I hate moving. And I'll tell you a secret... it's just as much of a hassle when someone is moving IN...

  7. I've moved 25 times in 27 years. I feel WAY BEYOND your pain. ;) The upside is I downscale every time. I've obviously become a minimalist.

  9. I've moved around 15+ times in my life - it's a hassle, for sure. Hope you're all settled in soon! Good luck.
